PRODUCTION SPONSORSHIP ($10,000+)
Every production presented by Opera Saratoga is built specifically for our audiences, providing an unparalleled opportunity to see world-class opera that you can’t see anywhere else! Each season, direct production costs are underwritten by Production Sponsors who provide the vital financial support that enables us to present a wide variety or repertoire, ranging from beloved classics to world premieres.
Production Sponsors include corporations, foundations and trusts, and individuals. Exclusive sponsorship of a production is available, but most often, a consortium of co-sponsors is established to underwrite a production. Production co-sponsorship begins at $10,000, while exclusive sponsorship of a production ranges from $100,000 to $250,000. The leadership and generosity of Production Sponsors is essential to Opera Saratoga’s ability to present the highest caliber of professional opera in the region for our community.
Every new production provides an opportunity for sponsors to become an integral part of the Opera Saratoga family. Sponsors are invited to watch the artistic process unfold – from the development of scenic and costume designs, to rehearsals, through opening night, which is celebrated with a special dinner for Production Sponsors hosted by artistic and general director Lawrence Edelson, and a post-performance cast party to celebrate after – creating lasting memories for a Sponsor and friends, family, and clients.
Sponsors also receive visibility through widely distributed publications, reaching over 20,000 unique households. Sponsorship is a tremendous marketing, branding, and relationship-building tool. Subscribers, donors, board members, and members of the community prefer to patronize and work with organizations that invest in making their city a greater place to live and work. To find out how you can play an integral role in opera in our community by becoming a Production Sponsor, please contact Christopher Patregnani at 518-584-6018.
In keeping with IRS regulations, the fair-market value of certain membership benefits and privileges may reduce the tax-deductibility of your gifts. The value of these benefits will be noted in Opera Saratoga’s acknowledgment of your gift. Tax-deductibility will be assessed based on your actual gift.
