OPERA SARATOGA DEBUT SEASON: Ensemble in Dido and Aeneas and La Cenerentola

American tenor Aaron J. Casey is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. This past May he graduated from the University of Houston magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree. While in Houston, Aaron was seen in over a dozen Moores Opera Center productions in a span of three years. Outside of his collegiate success he has performed on concert, theatre, and operatic stages alike. He has been recently seen at the New World Center (Miami, FL), Baden-Baden Festspielhaus (Baden-Baden, Germany), Baryshnikov Arts Center (New York, NY), Warner Bros. Studios (Los Angeles, CA), Walter Hall (Toronto, ON, CA), Florence Kopleff Recital Hall (Atlanta, GA), and D.F. Cook Recital Hall (St. John’s, Newfoundland) among other venues. Mr. Casey has won awards from Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and the Gilbert and Sullivan Society. In addition to his stage appearances, he has been featured on several television episodes on both HBO and PBS.
