  • Seaking a soprano for Opera Saratoga's upcoming Education Tour to play Delia in Stone Soup. The range is d to high b flat. The character description is as follows: "Delia, an African-American woman, 20 years old - soprano". Seeking female-presenting vocalists (African, Black, or mixed ethnicity) for Stone Soup.

    Additional concerts will be performed as part of Opera Saratoga's community engagement.

    Dates of Residency: February 22 - March 28, 2026

    Rehearsals: February 23 - February 28, 2026

    Tour: March 2 - March 27, 2026 with Sundays as the weekly day off. 

    Fees: $2,750; $550/week.

    Travel: Opera Saratoga will reimburse gas and tolls as well as mileage during tour if the artist drives their own car. If they don't drive/have a car, Opera Saratoga will arrange travel to/from Saratoga Springs and work out carpooling for the tour.

    Housing: Opera Saratoga will provide host housing for the 5-week residency. The artist will have a private bedroom but will share the kitchen and living spaces with a wonderful Saratoga Springs host.
